Six independent advisors have joined forces to jointly launch a new network for Purchase-to-Pay professionals. The network, which is open to purchasing, finance and supply chain professionals — all of whom play their roles in the end-to-end P2P process — has the main objective to share knowledge. In this way, the network helps organizations to take their maturity to a higher level and prepare them for technological developments. To learn more about the new initiative, called P2P & Verder, Consultancy.nl asked Robert-Jan Meeks, one of the six co-founders of the new platform, five questions.

On Thursday, January 25, P2P entrepreneurs Robert-Jan Meeks, Ewald Schaap, Derek Hooyman, Jacob Boersma, Yvo Slagman and Fred van Dijk challenged about 20 professionals to look further. Literally looking ahead through Virtual Reality glasses, but also looking ahead to the future of Purchase to Pay. The P2P professionals who set up the knowledge network look back on a successful kick-off.

Their previous solution no longer met the needs of the Procurement and Finance departments. This resulted in inefficient, unuser-friendly and cumbersome processes. Motivated to improve this, they wanted a good balance between different departments and efficiency across the entire chain.
