On Thursday, November 17, 2022, after two years, there was another physical P2P & Verder event focused on sharing knowledge and networking with P2P peers. With just under 20 participants, we met in the coach house at the De Viersprong estate in Woudenberg.

This knowledge event focused on two main topics:
- Highperforming Purchase to Pay led by (guest speaker) Eelco Bilstra and P2P & Verder Consultant Esmee Segond von Banchet
- The future of P2P led by Robert-Jan Meeks and Ewald Schaap
HPO and High Performing P2P
Eelco Bilstra (consultant at FFR&D) took us into the HPO (High Performing Organizations) and HPFF (High Performing Financial Function) ideas. A High Performance Organization (HPO) is an organization that achieves significantly better results than comparable organizations over a period of at least five years. The core of HPO thinking is to create such a strong internal organization that it can easily and flexibly deal with the threats and, in particular, the opportunities that arise in the external world. High Performing P2P
With the guests present, we brainstormed the features of a High Performing Purchase to Pay process. We have developed this in the following model:
Where HPO has a scientific basis, our model mainly has a “common sense” basis.
Together with the group, we then translated these characteristics into concrete practical actions that you can work on tomorrow.
The future of P2P
Robert-Jan and Ewald took the participants through the origin of P2P platforms, the differences with ERP software, where we are now, but especially where we are going and how to get there. Network
